Scope & Content A mini oral history taken during the 2017 AAPA conference held in Las Vegas, NV. Howard Straker, MPH, PA-C, is a teacher at George Washington University's PA Studies Program. He is also the secretary on the PAEA Board of Director. In the interview, Straker shares what drove him to become a PA, how he was able to combine his passion for advocacy with his profession as a PA and an educator, and his advice for future generations of PAs.
