Retired Navy Captain Charles Brakhage, PA, was the third program director of Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP). He was also the Navy representative on the initial committee for the establishment of IPAP. Brackage is an alumni of the Shepard Air Force Base PA school.
Brakhage talks about what led him to become a PA, the formation of the IPAP, the program's early days, and how it has changed.
