|Scope & Content||Small collection of one folder of items. Contains correspondence and newspaper and online articles concerning Jack Bilack, PA-C, USAF (RET) , attending a Red Cross Chapter ceremony to thank them for a care bag given by the chapter to soldiers (Bilack included) while he was serving in Vietnam. Another article features a blurb about a plane that Bilack built. Also, collection contains a memoir written by Bilak called "Flight Medic" about his experiences in the Air Force, in Vietnam, and as a PA.|
|Admin/Biographical History||Jack Bilack was in the Air Force and was a flight medic at evac hospitals in Vietnam. On his return, he was selected the Physician Assistant Training School at Fort Sheppard Air Force Base in 1973. He retired from the Air Force in 1984 and began to work at civilian health clinics in Colorado and to teach Health and Wellness at Colorado State University at Pueblo.|
