|Scope & Content||John Padgett was a Special Forces medic during the Vietnam War, where he found out about the physician assistant profession. He joined the MEDEX program in 1971. He talks about the history of the MEDEX program and his experiences in the program's early days. He also talks about working on the Alaska Pipeline Project in 1975. He then goes on to give more highlights of his career as a physician assistant.|
