Retired Colonel William Tozier was the fourth IPAP director (2007-2010). He joined the Army National Guard where he got clinical specialist training. While receiving his training, he learned about the PA profession. He is an alumni of the Duke PA program, class of '76. He was the curriculum coordinator for IPAP for three years from 1999. He took took over as PA consultant for the Surgeon General in 2002.
He talks about his life as a military PA, his involvement with the IPAP program, and the addition of a Masters program with the IPAP program.
