Ruth Ballweg and Reamer Bushardt interview Bill Finerfrock on his role in gaining Medicare reimbursement for PAs. He also talks about working with and advocating for rural health clinics. Finerfrock was the first federal lobbyist to be hired for the Physician Assistant profession and served eight years as the director of Federal Affairs for the AAPA (1985-1993). He is currently the President of Capitol Associates and Executive Director of the National Association of Rural Health Clinics. The interview was edited and shown in JAAPA's online edition of their Sept. 2017 issue to be a companion piece to an article Ballweg and Bushardt were writing together. |
