Title |
Veterans Caucus 2003 |
Date |
2003 |
Scope & Content |
Contains correspondences, reports, newsletters, invitations, presentation slides, and certificates from the Veterans Caucus. The newsletter contains information surrounding the Memorial Day celebrations circa 2001. Sections of the articles were submitted and/or edited by John E. Padgett, Tim Egan, Jackie Egan, Sharon Hanley, and Gerry J. Gilmore. The invitation is for a planned ceremony on National PA Day, and the document has various signatures written all over. The presentation slides are for a Memorial Day ceremony during 2000. The certificate originates from the State Corporation Commission in Virgina certifying that the certificate of incorporation of the Veterans Caucus was issued and admitted into their offices. The correspondences vary in terms of senders and recipients, but the most common of the latter is Kenneth Harbert. Similarily, the messages range in topic, with one sent to Kenneth Harbert thanking him for lunch, and one sent by Kenneth Harbert to the State Corporation Commission about a missing 1996 Annual Report. A correspondence was sent in response clarifying why the annual report did not appear. The last correspondences cover reinstated tax exemptions for the Veterans Caucus. Lastly, there is an annual report for the Veterans Caucus during 1999, which includes listings of the individuals in high-ranking positions, notices, and a Statement of Change. |
