Abstract: International medicine is playing an increasingly prominent role in health care given by PAs. this descriptive, exploratory survey identified and characterized critical concepts related to the conception and development of international activates in Physician Assistant Educational Programs throughout the United States. Survey data was generated concerning the philosophy, ethics, academic issues, student needs, arrangements, benefits, demographics, and potential coordination between different programs. The overall goal of the International Health movement is to bring the highest level of healthcare and health education to all parts of the world. This encompasses humanitarianism, preventative medicine, and political and economic factors in global health. |
