The Physician's Assistant in the Community Hospital and in Office Practice |

Summary |
"Broaddus Hospital was built on the campus of Alderson-Broaddus College in order that its clinical teaching facilities might be readily available to college students in the allied health fields. Departments of nursing, radiological and medical technology were developed, and the close relationship of the hospital and the college proved to be of mutual benefit to both institutions and to the students whom they serve. When the need for physician's assistants became apparent, it was only natural that the College, the Hospital and the medical staff of the Hospital should cooperate in extending their educational endeavors to include a department in this new field. |
